This recipe will change the way you look at cooking great steaks!

Ingredients

  • 1 Prime Ribeye (of any size)
  • 4tsp Black Bessie Blend

Instructions

  1. Generously pat charcoal beef rub onto ribeye and set aside to rest for 10 mins
  2. Heat oven or bbq to 110c or 230f
  3. Place ribeye in oven/bbq and slowly cook until desired done-ness below using a meat probe:

    • Rare – 40c (110f)
    • Medium Rare – 46c (115f)
    • Medium – 52c (125f)
    • Medium Well – 57c (135f
  4. Once desired internal temperature is reached, remove from heat and leave to rest for approximately 10mins.
  5. Place ribeye either over a hot pan or over coals (direct heat) for approximately 90sec either side. Cut and serve immediately.

Tips

This recipe requires cooking to a temperature, not a time. So long as you reach the desired internal temperature, the protein is cooked.
