Make at home maple bacon, perfect for that Sunday morning breakfast!
Ingredients
- 150g Blend 101 Maple Bacon mix
- 2kg Pork Belly
Instructions
- Trim skin from pork belly if needed. PLEASE NOTE you should not be curing any more than 2kg per jar of Blend 101 Maple Cure.
- Place pork belly in bag
- Add entire jar of Blend 101 Maple Bacon Cure to bag, making sure all of the surface of the pork belly is covered by the blend.
- Seal bag air tight and place on tray.
- Leave in fridge for 1 x week, turning pork belly daily.
- After 1 week, remove pork belly from bag and rinse thoroughly under water to remove all mix.
- Continue on to cook bacon using our BACON PERFECTION blend.
