This recipe will change the way you look at cooking great steaks!
Ingredients
- 1 Prime Ribeye (of any size)
- 4tsp Black Bessie Blend
Instructions
- Generously pat charcoal beef rub onto ribeye and set aside to rest for 10 mins
- Heat oven or bbq to 110c or 230f
- Place ribeye in oven/bbq and slowly cook until desired done-ness below using a meat probe:
• Rare – 40c (110f)
• Medium Rare – 46c (115f)
• Medium – 52c (125f)
• Medium Well – 57c (135f - Once desired internal temperature is reached, remove from heat and leave to rest for approximately 10mins.
- Place ribeye either over a hot pan or over coals (direct heat) for approximately 90sec either side. Cut and serve immediately.
Tips
This recipe requires cooking to a temperature, not a time. So long as you reach the desired internal temperature, the protein is cooked.
